Speech Therapy

Cognitive, Language, Socio-Emotional, & Feeding Services

Our speech-language pathologists are here to help. We provide services for communication and learning including: stuttering, motor speech disorders, language delay, literacy and cognition. We also provide therapy to support families who need assistance with socio-emotional skills and feeding for picky eaters and dysphagia.


Physical Therapy

Big Motor Movements

Our physical therapist work in collaboration with parents to help children improve range of motion, strength, flexibility, balance & coordination, flexibility, and movement. They use their specialty training to meet each child’s individualized needs and create goals that are functional to that child, helping each child reach their highest potential.


Occupational Therapy

Fine Motor Movement, Sensory, & Feeding Services

Our occupational therapist dedicated to using a multi-sensory approache. She helps children develop fine motor movements they need to in life for feeding, playing, and daily living skills. OT services are also available to children who need assistance with sensory integration and visuospatial skills, in order to promote independence.


Developmental Specialists

Attention & Behavior Therapy, Resources, Support

Our developmental specialist holds Masters of Education with over 15 years of experience. She helps children achieve the skills necessary to be successful within a school setting including: attention and behavior skills. Her services also offer individualized supports and guidance as to how to access resources.


Vision & Hearing Specialist

CVI Specialist

Our Vision & Hearing Specialist, Dr. Newcomb, has 30+ years of experience teaching infants and toddlers with disabilities, including 13 years providing technical assistance to young children with deaf-blindness, their families and service providers through Connections Beyond Sight and Sound, the MD and DC deaf-blind project. She earned her Ph.D. at the University of Maryland in 2009 and holds certification in Early Childhood Special Education and in Visual Impairment, as well as the Perkins/Roman CVI Range Endorsement. Dr. Newcomb currently works in both private practice and early intervention settings and specializes in deaf-blindness and cortical visual impairment.
